Turkey season in Mills county runs from Apr. 3 - May 16, 2021 with special youth only hunts open Mar. 27 - 28, 2021 and May 22 - 23, 2021. And the Turkeys are running wild on the ranch. Karson shot a trophy blackbuck with his dad's rifle, that had not been hunting for over 16 years. Kaegan stalked blackbuck over the entire upper range before crawling 100 yards and waiting 20-minutes to take the perfect shot. Along the way they acquired new skills and lasting memories. 8 year old Sloane took her first buck, a monster 11-point 161 B&C beauty. Her brother harvested a doe. Mom, Dad and little sis shared in the adventure. A brotherhood of Aggie Cadets found the adventure of a lifetime at the Wild Rocking P. First hunts, first harvests, campfires, skeet, and long range rifle competitions filled their days, creating bonds that will last a lifetime. |
